Our Program

Our school-age childcare programming follows our organizational philosophy to recognize children as capable individuals in the process of developing cognitive, social, emotional, and creative skills.

We enhance each child's unique needs and abilities by maximizing freedom and creativity and encouraging exploration, while providing safe limits and consistent support.

School-age daily activities include activities such as supervised homework time, arts and crafts, outdoor play time, gardening and cooking.  We have additional supplemental activities monthly through science and dance classes.

Our science teacher visits each site 1-2 times per month presenting hands on science lessons and facilitating experiments on topics such as electromagnetism, gravity, light/prisms, and density.

Our traveling dance teacher visits 1-2 times
per month.  She provides students the opportunity to explore and learn about various forms of dance, choreography, and music.

We believe that embedded instruction through a variety of hands-on materials allows for maximum opportunities for child development through self-exploration and discovery.
